A Very Scarce Collectorama Show Souvenir Card depicting the 1864 0 Confederate Note.
Considered to be the rarest of all the Lakeland, Florida Collectorama Show Souvenir Cards,
as the remaining inventory of these Souvenir Cards has never been located in over 27 years.
This Souvenir Card depicts the
1864 0.00 Confederate note, with Stonewall Jackson and
the Confederate Flag
, and various coins and tokens associated with the Confederacy.
Black and White Printing.  Serial Number 313.  New Condition.
Only 500 of these privately issued Souvenir Card were originally printed.
The Souvenir Card was issued March 12-14, 1993 at the
14th Semi-Annual Collectorama Show,
in Lakeland, Florida
Privately issued show Souvenir Cards have become a lot more desirable recently, as the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (B.E.P.) and the American Bank Note Company (ABNCo) no longer issue their high quality engraved Souvenir Cards, for many of the numismatic events, as they did in the past.  Many Souvenir Card Collectors have now taken an interest in privately issued Souvenir Cards, that were printed and issued by local coin clubs, and coin shows.   While not the extremely high quality engraved B.E.P. and ABNCo Souvenir Cards, many privately issued Souvenir Cards were not produced in very large quantities, and often times are much scarcer and harder to locate then many of the B.E.P. and ABNCo issues.  Over the past 40 years we have accumulated many of these very interesting Souvenir Cards and are now offering them for sale.
