From The Perth Mint comes this officially licensed James Bond Proof Silver Dollar! Created by author Ian Fleming in 1953, Bond feature films have captivated audiences around the world since the release of the first film, DR. NO, in 1962. More than 50 years later James Bond continues to entertain and excite audiences in one of the longest running and successful film franchises in history. This coin celebrates the fictional British Secret Service agent James Bond, also known as 007.
Each of these 2020 1 oz Tuvalu James Bond Series 007 Silver High Reliefs were struck at the Perth Mint and are available to you certified and graded by PCGS with the PR69 DCAM First Day of Issue designation. The obverse design of the coin is the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This is the fourth-generation effigy of the Queen from British coins and was used as the fifth-generation effigy on Australian and Commonwealth denominations. The reverse design of the coin bears the image of the 007 gun logo. This logo commonly appears at the opening sequence of every Bond film ever made.
With such a limited mintage of ONLY 5,000 coins, the 2020 Tuvalu James Bond Series 007 Silver Proof High Reliefs are a true collectors piece. This variation designated First Day of Issue has a PCGS population of just 50 coins!
