PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Created by author Ian Fleming in 1953, Bond feature films have captivated audiences around the world since the release of the very first film, DR. NO, in 1962.
2022 marks the 60th anniversary of the release of that first film in the extensive James Bond series of action-packed movies. More than 60 years later, James Bond continues to entertain and excite audiences in one of the longest running and successful film franchises in history.
To celebrate this milestone, the Perth Mint of Australia has produced a handsome limited mintage, "60 Years of Bond," commemorative coin.
The obverse design of the coin is the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,
beneath the inscription "QUEEN ELIZABETH II." Additional inscriptions curving around the effigy include "1 OZ 9999 AG," "2022," "TUVALU" and "1 DOLLAR." The focal point of the reverse is a celebratory logo designed for the anniversary, which features the "007" gun graphic blended with the number "60," above the inscription "YEARS OF BOND." The field surrounding the emblem is patterned with a collection of "007" gun logos used in the sixty years of the film franchise.
Each of these 2022 Tuvalu Silver 60 Years of Bond coins were struck at the Perth Mint from 1 ounce of pure 0.9999 fine silver and are available to you certified and graded by NGC with a MS70 First Releases designation.
