PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Real Heroes Series honors individuals who have dedicated their passion, skills and lives to their jobs. The series began with the release of the silver Fighter Pilot in 2020 and this stunning silver black proof Special Forces coin is a part of the third release in the Real Heroes series! The coin pays tribute to those that serve in the military special forces.
Struck by the B.H. Mayer Mint on behalf of the Cook Islands, this coin is certified legal tender with an individual face value of . This coin contains 3 full ounces of 0.999 fine silver and features a black proof finish.
The obverse depicts special forces being dropped in by a helicopter under the cover of nightfall. The center of the coin reads “ONLY THE BRAVE ARE FREE”. It also includes a small image of a coin with the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the year, denomination, and country of issue. The reverse features a soldier in uniform. The goggles and helmet are colorized in contrast to the mask and rest of the soldier. The background is a honeycomb pattern with the Real Heroes logo.
Each coin will arrive housed in an acrylic holder in its original mint packaging and
accompanied
by the Certificate of Authenticity. This 2022 Cook Islands 3oz Real Heroes - Special Forces coin has been limited to a worldwide low mintage of just 750 pieces!
