    Description

For auction is an amazing antique porcelain set of 2 platters; the markings are from the Robert Bloor Derby era, circa 1820-1848.
I have shown several views of each in the pictures.  There is an Ecclesiastical Heraldry Coat of Arms design in gold in the well of each platter.  This is a coat of arms that are also a part of the plates that go with this serving pieces, and other serving pieces, also to be auctioned.
To describe the Coat of Arms, they consist of: 2 crosses, a lamb, a key and a shepherd's staff, a bird, leaf and a crown.  They are nice sturdy pieces.
There are 10 reserves, each separated by a swirling gold double border and topped with double raised cobalt blue enamel, hand painted, stylized acanthus leaves.  A beautiful set!
Please watch for my other listings of this set which will have plates, a heart shaped desert server and 2 covered tureens.
The measurements are:  Small Platter - 11-3/4" wide x 8-1/2" high
    Large Platter:  15" wide x 10-1/2" high.
