This caliper is full stainless steel constructed, waterproof gaskets are plugged at the interface of the engine shell. It is of high protection from dust and water.
Inch/Millimeter Conversion
There are two display mode, Inch and Millimeter, which can be easily converted by one press on the mm/in button.
Battery Replacement
There is a locked battery box. Facing down, locking roller facing up. Use the small screwdriver provided, remove the screw on the same side as the thumb roller. After unscrewing the screw, the battery cover on the opposite side will be loose, and change battery.
Outside Diameter
Measure the outside diameter or length of an object with the two long jaws. By clamping the object between the two parallel sides of the long jaws and fixing it in place
Inside Diameter
Measure the inside diameter of objects with the two short jaws. Put the two short jaws inside the subject, roll the thumb roller to against the subjects inner diameter
Step
Measure the step with the two short jaws. Set the caliper vertically on the surface, roller the thumb roller until the upper short jaws’ lower section is parallel to the step
Depth
Measure the depth of objects with the long probe on the end of the caliper. Put the probe into the objects inner part and roll the thumb roller to measure it’s depth

Troubleshooting Problem:
Every digits jump simultaneously: Battery voltage is under 1.45 V. Remove battery cover and replace battery.
Display can not count: Faulty circuit. Remove battery, after 30 seconds, put battery back into compartment.
Display shows 000.00 Or IN 00.000: Function buttons and sliders signal end may have shorted out. Remove the cover, put the button springs in place with rubber covers. Contact must be unobstructed.
Function buttons not active: Springs or rubber covers may be out of shape due to excessive pressing. See solution above for tips.
Reading error for full length is ≥ 0.1 mm: Sensor may have dirt or deposits in it. Remove cover and slider assembly. Blow off sensor face with clean pressurized air(251 kg/cm squared) clean with a dry, lint-free cloth.
No display on LCD screen:
Poor battery contact. Check battery compartment, clean if necessary.
Battery voltage is under 1.3 V, replace with correct battery.
