    beautiful
    1957 Cosmopolitan Miss Ginger dolls. Each
    10 1/2" tall. COLLECTABLE
    One with blonde hair and the other with brunette.
    Rooted hair, sleep eyes. Teen-type fashion body (not little girl), jointed at the neck, shoulders, waist and hips with high heeled feet, pierced ears and painted finger nails. Marked on head: "
    Ginger"
    . Similar to Revlon teen doll.
    RARE I had to really search to find out more about them. They are the teenage big sister of the little girl Ginger dolls (8"). These are teenage dolls with teen bodies. They are selling for 0 each. These two dolls are in very good condition.
    These were both my dolls which I got in the late 50's. The blonde one I called Ginger and the brunette I named Susan.
    I played with them and my mother lovingly made clothes for them. The blue dress on Ginger is one she made. The outfit on the brunette, Susan, is the one she came in. I display a picture of the tag inside the check shirt. Both have original earrings and high heel shoes. Ginger has original necklace.  Both have bras (though the elastic has lost it's elasticity).
    I was always careful with my dolls and have moved these with us over the years. They have been carefully stored away and I decided that someone should have them out to enjoy them too.  (I had fun photographing them for this listing).
    They are in very good condition. Over 60 years old. Still strong attachments. Ginger is missing the very tip of her little finger (my puppy was scolded for that)!
