Item Details
GorillaWeld is an incredibly strong, heavy duty two part adhesive. The tough, steel bond epoxy formula has a 4250 PSI bond strength and sets in just 10 minutes. GorillaWeld is waterproof and versatile, creating a long lasting, permanent bond to: metal, plastics (most), concrete, ceramics, PVC, fiberglass and more! Comes as 0.5 fl oz tubes of Resin and Hardener.
All surfaces should be clean and free of debris. To improve adhesion, roughen smooth surfaces with sandpaper before gluing.
1. Remove cap from each tube and use top of cap to puncture foil seal.
2. Dispense equal parts from each tube onto a clean, disposable surface.
3. Mix with disposable mixing tool for approximately 20 seconds until color is uniform.
4. Apply mixture to surface within 3 minutes.
5. Clamp surfaces together and leave undisturbed for 10 to 30 minutes. Full cure in 24 hours. Cure time dependent on temperature, humidity and quantity applied.
*Note: Not recommended for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or similar plastics.
Application Temperature is  32°F to 90°F and the Service Temperature is -40°F to 300°F. Set time is 10 minutes and the cured color is dark grey.
Cure Mechanism - 2 Part Reaction and requires mixing. Can be used for gap filling. It can be used outdoors and is freeze/thaw stable and waterproof (Not suggested to use on wood materials submerged or soaked in water).
GorillaWeld is paintable, sandable, drillable and shapeable. It is not stainable and has limited chemical resistance.
