If you have any questions feel free to ask, but I do not really know anything about this machine other than what has already been posted here.
Someone was nice enough to give me some information about this machine that you can read below.
The edger is typically an accessory that is used to put a nice beveled edge on the items that are engraved with an engraver. For instance, those plastic name tags one used to see on every supermarket employee's uniform... the nice engraved ones where the letters were actually engraved into a slab of plastic which had different contrasting color layers. The engraving machine would rout into the bottom layer to form the letters and symbols. The edger would do the same all around the edge, so that, for instance, if you used a piece of engraving material with a black top layer and a white bottom layer, the engraved letters would look white on a black background, and this device you have here would be used to machine a bevel around the outside of the material, giving a white outline.
