Victor of Wagram - Rare file sample discovered in the estate sale of the owners of Central Litho. Central was best known for its solid backgrounds (which were quite expensive) but this one takes it a step further with a canvas effect! The Battle of Wagram at spot 10 kilos North of Vienna was held on July 5-6 1809. Napoleon’s victory over the Austrians was costly, his army suffered 34,000 casualties and lost 30 Generals. Since this is a file sample, I don’t know if it ever went into production. Includes certificate of authenticity. Slight handling marks, refer to scans for condition.
