The geothermal heat pump is entirely automatic in operation providing heating, cooling and hot water with a centrally located heat/cool thermostat. With GHPs, there are no outside condensing units like air conditioners. Units are designed and manufactured for “whisper quiet” operation, much like your refrigerator.
COST EFFECTIVE
Geothermal heat pumps save money in operating and maintenance costs. While the initial purchase price of a residential GHP system is often higher than that of a comparable gas-fired furnace and central air-conditioning system, it is more efficient, thereby saving money every month.
