It was designed solely by Dietrich Lubs
They are very uncommon but he gave me a better idea as to it's real value.  So I am adjusting accordingly
This is a firm price.  For any less I would just keep it.  I adore it.
I collect vintage calculators (mostly ugly early 1970's examples) but this is a whole nuther thing

Technically I think this is a ET 55/2 as it is white, not black
As I understand it only 5000 of the white examples were made.  They seem to be VERY uncommon.  I could find no recent auction/sale results and most examples I found were located in design museums.
Apple was VERY influenced by the design work of Dieter Rams.  In fact the calculator app on the iPhone was basically this calculator.  Apple even sold a branded example of this basic calculator in their stores.
This example is in excellent vintage condition.  Buttons are excellent.  All functions have been tested.  Case is in great shape.  Includes the instruction manual
