Offering a stunning small teapot referred as an individual or demitasse teapot, made by
Royal Crown Derby in Mikado pattern.
Excellent
condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
Some very light marks on the underside rest rim and what looks to be a tiny firing divot not visible unless the underside is viewed and very insignificant.
The blue color is very vibr
ant, the gold embellishments are strong with only extremely slight loss, and the glaze has a high sheen.
Measures 7.5 from end of spout to end of handle, approximately 4.25 to top lid finial and 3.5 at the widest point.
The Royal Crown Derby logos under the lid and on the underside of the pot both contain Roman numeral III, which equates to a date code of 1940.
