Up for sale is a 5th Special Forces Group Vietnam Veteran Belt Buckle with a 36" sized belt.
The belt buckle looks like its still in like new condition, with only a bit of bubbling along the upper part and lower part of the belt (just above the word forces and a little to the right and below the flags at the bottom). This seems like a minor factory error or blemish caused by  some bubbling that occurred during the epoxy or resin being added to the top of the belt buckle's printed graphic in order to protect it.
There are also a couple of minor dings that can be seen on the surface of this belt buckle when it is held up to the light, but they are relatively minor blemishes. These dings are located towards the upper left immediate area of the airborne shield logo.
There is also a fine line or scratch that runs through the O and R in Forces at the top of this belt buckle along with a minor spec of a ding located to the right of the Airborne text at the top of the shield.
The back of the belt looks like brass and has a grainy texture to it. There are some dark spots on it, which may have come about from dust and/or general wear which could use
a good polish or left as-is for a more worn in sort of look.
The buckle also comes with a 36" belt which is black for the most part with some brown trim in between.
The number 36 is printed near the belt buckle on the belt and there is also another branding which is harder to spot that reads "Genuine Full Grain Leather" followed by BS304. I can't  say for sure what the latter part relates to, but it seems to be a product number for this particular belt.
This belt was sitting in a drawer for only a few years.
It was wrapped up tight in a coil, just as shown in the pictures. There seems to be only some minor wear on the belt with some fuzziness on the brown inner trim.
Out of the seven holes on the belt, the fourth, third, and second holes seem to be the ones that were used the most, as they appear to be slightly more enlarged than the other ones, with some more signs of wear surrounding the hole on the outside of the belt; which makes the otherwise normal looking leather appear to be more like a snakeskin finish.
The buckle has a pair of buttons on it designed to lock the belt buckle into place.
The tip of the belt may have been cut down a bit in order to accommodate an overall fit for a pair of pants whose loops may have been a bit too small for this approximate 1 & 3/4" thick sized belt.
I'm selling it now due to a recent death in the family and some financial obligations that  need to be taken care of.
The belt is in as-is condition, but it looks like it's practically brand new with hardly any wear on it.
