DESCRIPTION:
♦ This Granny Square style Afghan blanket is designed and crocheted using MANY colors and MANY types of yarn - solid color, rotating color, etc.
♦ Straight forward squares ... about 7" x 7" Each.
♦
Oddly, half the blanket has rows of like squares, while the other half has RANDOM placement of the colors - hard to explain this arrangement.
♦ There are 12 Rows of squares on the length ... 10 Rows on the width.
♦ Note the REVERSE of the blanket shows the raised ridge of the crochet line that connects the squares...the color of the yarn used here is random.
♦ Border is crochet - uses the RAINBOW Rotating color yarn - with extra loops so the border is a bit 'ruffled'. A nice, appropriately COLORFUL finishing touch.

olors and feel suggest the yarn is a blend that contains some percentage of polyester. It is uncertain whether there is cotton or the afghan is 100% polyester.

9.0 out of 10 -- Nice Vintage condition with some issues:
The blanket Afghan is clean, and mostly intact. No rips or tears - there are a few loose threads - all tiny - a couple have been 'tied off' again, so are VERY hard to detect ... we did not see others, but they may exist.
There is no mustiness, smoke smell, or animal odors of any kind.
Another minor issue: t
here is a slight 'pilling' of the yarn - we did not try to 'comb' these off.
They can be picked off, or sheared off with no effect on the blanket.
