Calculator is in great working condition. Some fading of the finish. Some scuffs and scratches from use. Key pad is intact and has signs of wear Battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion. Case is clean and has some scratches and minor peeling. Powered by 2 AA batteries or 3v DC Adapter not included.

Hanimex was an Australian import-export firm, founded after WWII by German refugee Jack Hannes. The name is an abbreviation for Hannes Import Export. The company sold a variety of cameras, lenses, slide projectors and, for a shorter time, handheld electronic calculators. This example has a plastic case with metal trim and twenty four rectangular plastic keys. The on/off switch is left of the four uppermost keys. Behind the keyboard is an eight-digit LED display. Text above the display reads: HANIMEX 811 The top edge has a socket for a power adapter. The calculator comes with a black plastic carrying case.
