Vintage Hewlett Packard HP-35 Calcuator RARE Red dot 1143 HOLY GRAIL. I do not have the power plug or battery so this is UNTESTED and AS Found.  Based on my limited research this is an early model that is hard to find.  The serial number in 01434. Signs of age and wear

What makes this one a rare is the red dot that appears when you slide the power switch to the on position.  Most of the ones you find listed on ebay and elsewhere do not have this. I believe this feauture also makes it a "Version 1". Based on the serial numbering, this one may contain the original "bug" in the programming that they were made with but I do not know if it was ever corrected.  Original owner's "Property Of" tag is present and this name is also scratched on the interior of the unit and the battery cover. Any other info that calculator collectors would like to share would be helpful. It is fun going down the wormhole reading about these!
