    Description

    VTG Hand Painted Porcelain Geisha, Japanese, Oriental Lady playing a Kokyu??? aka fiddle.  Her jet black hair frames  the vibrant colors used on her face, she has a look of confidence.  The pink sash and soft green trim compliment the white kimono.  I have no idea how old this piece is but she was just too pretty to leave on the dusty shelf I found her on.
    To the best of my knowledge there are no marks that would help to identify maker or place of origin.
    Condition: Used in good condition, I have not seen any grazing, cracking or nicks.  There is a "rust" spot on the back of her kimono at the very bottom.
    Dimensions: Height 5.75 in, Diameter 2.75 in, Width 1.75 in.  Weight 3 oz.
